Renting a Villa or Apartment at Pinheiros Altos

Housekeeping service

Housekeeping service is normally provided 5 days a week, the exception being on weekends and public holidays. Housekeeping duties include cleaning bathrooms, the floor and making the beds. Laundry and ironing are not included in the service. Bed linen and towels are changed twice a week during high season and once a week during mid and low seasons.

Maintenance

Should any fault occur in the property, please contact Resort Management office on site.

Telephone

To make phone calls outside Portugal dial 00 followed by the code of the country being dialed. Calls are metered and will be charged after departure by the property rental company.

Electricity

The voltage in Portugal is 220 volts and two pin plugs are used. A continental adapter brought from home can be utilised on any appliance. We recommend not using too many appliances at the same time, as this may overload the circuit and cut off the electricity. Should this occur please reset the main switch in the switch-board cupboard under the steps. If in doubt please contact the Resort Management office.

Electrical Appliances

Most of the appliances are self explanatory however, should there be any doubts about the usage please contact the resort management team. Many of our property owners leave appliance manuals in the property for perusal.

Televisions

The television is supplied with cable and a directory is available by selecting channel 1. In the event of a problem with television reception please do not interfere with the settings but kindly report it to Resort Management team.

Vacating the Apartment and Villa

On the day of departure, accommodation must be vacated by 10:00 am in order to allow housekeeping sufficient time to prepare the apartment/villa for the next guest.

Guests whose flights are later in the day may need assistance to store luggage, so please contact Resort Management and they will be able to assist you with this.
We recommend that before vacating a villa or apartment, guests inspect all rooms and closets to verify that no personal belongings are forgotten.
