Ross and Kenny hail from the Scottish borders both have been based in Portugal for many years. We offer truly excellent tuition in a clear and professional manner.

Kenny Fairbairn (AA British PGA Professional)

Kenny Fairbairn has been a fully qualified AA British PGA Professional since 1995. Kenny started his early career on the England/Scotland border at Goswick Golf Club where he achieved international status for England at both youth and senior level. Kenny then moved to Portugal at the end of 1995 to focus on advancing his teaching career.

Based in and around Quinta do Lago during that time, Kenny now offers top class tuition and experience to enhance any golfers' level of play.

Kenny Fairbairn currently teaches within the Pinheiros Altos Golf Academy.

Ross Sutherland (AA British PGA Professional)

Ross Sutherland has been a British P.G.A Professional since 2001 and has been at Pinheiros Altos throughout this time as an assistant during his training through to his current position of head teaching professional.

Originally from the Borders area of Scotland, he was lucky enough to spend time shadowing his Director of Golf who was the coach to Sandy Lyle.

Since his move to the Algarve he has continued to spend a significant amount of time with a number of the world's top coaches and top players on the European Tour and has used these various influences to help him develop his own teaching techniques to be more informative, effective and enjoyable.

As a coach his main aim is to improve your enjoyment and understanding of the game. Whether it's as a complete beginner or a Professional Golfer, Ross' diversity as a teacher means that every standard of player can benefit from his tuition.
